June 5 - Periods 1 and 3 sat for their final exams. You must have an administrator's approval to take your exam on the make-up day if you were absent.
Period 5 - We did the class activity for the final exam. This activity builds background knowledge for the final exam. It is not optional. We also started reading the sources for the final exam. The final exam is on Tuesday, June 9 first thing in the morning.
June 4- repeat of June 3. Periods 2 and 4 exams are on Monday, June 8. Period 8 exam is Wednesday, June 10.

We discussed the poem "Negro Hero (to suggest Dorie Miller)" and then you worked on comparing and contrasting the two poems for both WHAT they say and HOW they say it.
